Queen fight to No Tears, No Flowers by Seven Day Sleep
aha, just kidding… this is a bit of a blast from the past again, January 19, 2019! Was just having a bit of fun in Whitesprings killing me some ghouls, as per usual, when suddenly!
HOW DARE THEY NUKE A CLOWN?
A clowns only job is to bring happiness and joy, who would nuke a clown?
Awwww, I’m just kidding, we nuked my place all the time, great exp and flux, lots of legendary toys to play with, and then hung out on my roof sharing our spoils of war… Good times… Heck, I even nuked my house myself quite a few times. Even repairs weren’t that hard – although this was at the time the ‘repair all’ function was broken because I had plants, so I had to do it all one by one. WORTH IT!
I did like to die in the explosions, because you know the old saying: A clown always goes down with the Happy House!
Just copying this over to have this information handy and ready to hand out….
It’s been a busy week in Appalachia! We released another big update with Patch 13 and kicked off Project Clean Appalachia. This event challenges you to tidy up the Wasteland to unlock rewards for the community, including exclusive cosmetics, steep Purveyor discounts, and even a second helping of Meat Week. We’re not slowing down over the weekend, either, because our latest Double XP Event starts today in all game modes.
Some new faces are on their way to Appalachia with the Wastelanders update later this year, and it’s time to clean house in preparation for their arrival. Pitch in by taking part in Project Clean Appalachia, a series of community challenges that that you can help complete to earn lots of rewards for everyone over the next six weeks.
You’ve been charged to make the skies a little friendlier by swatting down as many Scorchbeasts as you can over the next two weeks. If you and your fellow Dwellers manage to exterminate 100,000 Scorchbeasts before September 23, Grahm has promised to fire up the grill for another round of the Meat Week Seasonal Event, from September 26 – 30.
The party doesn’t end there. If the community reaches the initial goal early, you can put even more hurt on those bat-like behemoths to earn additional stretch rewards. Kill enough Scorchbeasts and you’ll unlock new cosmetics and extend the Meat Week celebration to a full seven-day feast!
Each week during Project Clean Appalachia, you’ll be able to add a new cosmetic item to your collection without spending a single Atom. Show our impending visitors a welcoming side of the Wasteland with the warm glow of the Tripod Floor Lamp, which you can claim for free in the Atomic Shop until September 17.
We’ll keep you updated throughout the coming weeks with reminders about the current challenge, the rewards you can unlock, and the weekly free item in the Atomic Shop. For even more frequent updates, head to the events page on Fallout.com to check the community’s progress toward the current goal. You can also catch the details on everything that’s up for grabs by reading our recent Project Clean Appalachia article.
You’ve got to be tough if you’re going to take on Scorchbeasts. To help you jump start your contribution to the Clear the Skies challenge, we’re kicking off a new Double XP Event a little later today. Unlike previous XP events, we’re adding Nuclear Winter to the mix. This means you’ll rake in twice as much Overseer XP and Adventure XP than you normally would from your Nuclear Winter matches. Of course, Adventure and Survival will still feature the same XP boost you’re already used to.
We hope you’ll join us in-game this weekend to reach new heights in your favorite mode. Here are the details:
In case you missed it, we released another big update in Patch 13 on Tuesday. It brought quality of life improvements for the events system with the arrival of Public Events, the new Morgantown map for Nuclear Winter, many design changes, and a big wave bug fixes to Fallout 76. Read the Patch Notes for a full rundown on all of these improvements and more.
Until next time, we’ll see you in the Wasteland.
